Isabella has been asking for a while for a "big girl bike", I've been telling her let's wait until Daddy gets home. It's always been very important to Ian, for him to teach her to ride a bike. It's a memory that he cherishes with his father and wanted to have the same with Isabella. So today was the big day. We finally bought her a bike (and helmet).

Gymnastics
We started Isabella in gymnastics this past month and she absolutely loves it. She's actually pretty good. Her favorite is the balance beam and of course the big trampoline. She can do a forward roll (saumersalt) by herself and is learning to do cartwheels. We hope to keep her active in different things like gymnastics, soccer and ballet this coming year. Here's some pictures from her very first class.

Isabella Turns Four
OK, so its been almost an entire month since Isabella's Birthday (March 19th) I just can't get over the fact that she is now FOUR years old. I am in denial. Where has the time gone?? I think the say that every year.
For the BIG FOUR we didn't do a typical Birthday Party. Instead we took her to the Dolphin Encounter at our local Sea Life Park. (Pictures with said dolphins need to be scanned...my lazy bum has YET to even do that!) She had a blast playing with Nani the dolphin. After our day at the Sea Life Park we went to a special dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory (food was so-so) and had Ice cream cake! Yum. Mom splurged and had some. lol Here's a few pictures from our Fun day.

Run For Justice 2009
Today Isabella and I participated in a 5k Run For Justice race. We went with our friends Kelly and Kassidy. Isabella and Kassidy enjoyed most of the race via wagon while Kelly and I took turns running and pulling the wagon. I have to say, next time I will not be pulling 80lbs worth of children when I run! Considering our obstacle we still made it in 45 minutes. Not bad! I hope to participate in a few more races this year. This is my first every 5k event!
The girls ran the last bit of the way, and Isabella got third in her overall age group. And got a ribbon to show for it.
Here's some pictures from my cell phone.
Officially number 125

Hammin' it up.

Brain Washing at an Early Age
If you don't already know..my husband is a huge Star Wars Fan. He enjoys the movies, the games, the cartoons and in general anything having to do with said Star Wars. Apparently this is something that needs to be passed on from Father to Child. lol And Isabella is fully enjoying the brain washing. Here's some (blackmail) evidence.
